Let’s Feng Shui Our Homes For The Holidays

Feng Shui is all about bringing auspicious energy called chi to your home and your hearts. The holidays present a good time to temporarily add all sorts of items to our house that are meaningful to your families and you. It is a time when adding these items can up the chi of your homes.

Start by introducing yourself to the bagua (The Feng Shui Floor Plan) so you know where all the areas of your home are that requires some chi enhancement.

For example do you want to improve the health of a family member? Well hang a crystal ornament from the ceiling in the middle of the room. Do you want to have a wonderful family gathering? Then add a wreath or a Christmas tree to the left center of your room or home. Just decide which area of your life needs help and add your favorite holiday decorations in accordance with the bagua and the five elements in Feng Shui that need to be symbolized.

Here are nine different ideas that will help you to create a difference in your lives. Just decide for yourself, which of the areas need the most help…

-If you need to enhance your career add items to the career area that represent water. Snowmen or snowflakes would work well.

-If you want to bring your family closer together add items that represent wood to the family area. You can add a Christmas tree, Hanukah Bush, or holly. ·

-If you want recognition add items that represent the element of Fire to the fame area. You can add a menorah, candles, stars, or reindeer.

-If you are concerned about any aspect of your health place items in that area such as a bowl of fruit in a ceramic centerpiece, or a woven basket.

-If you want to get your creative juices flowing or you having a problem with children place items in the descendents area. Place metal ornaments, toys dreidels of metal, or perhaps a metal train set to name a few ideas.

-If wealth is your concern, place a money tree made of wood, or a tree made of wood with Chanukah Gelt all around it. Place it in the wealth area.

-If you need more help and support for the holidays enhance the Compassion area of the bagua. Place angels there or pictures of helpful people in metal round frames.

-If you are hoping for more wisdom, place wise men or religious figures in the wisdom area.

-If you want romance to enter or stay in your life place two special pink or red ornaments in the Relationship area. Have fun studying the bagua and find your own creative ways to up the energy in your home for the holidays and all special times.
